Description
This fountain is located at the courtyard between courthouse and the library. It is made of cement. The design is made into an octagon waterfall system, with eight spouts separated by a small conservation wall that would originally keep the water from falling out of the sides. The reason I say this is because this fountain is no longer in use. The base of the fountain is smaller that the actual spouts. At an elevation view it almost looks like a short stumpy tree with a wide trunk and the spouts create the large broad spouts geometrically spaced out around the base. Water would be released from the center trough a tube, which led to the spouts that would lead the water until it cascaded into a circular inlet that covered the area around the fountain. From that brick was used to create the circular inlet which would go around in circles until it hits a square pattern where the brick layout changes direction. The bricks create a three step exit all around the fountain into the right height of the courtyard.
