The statue of Saint Joseph is posed seated, approximately 3/4 life size. There is a child standing on his lap with hands closed in prayer; presumably Jesus. It is mounted on a raised pedestal made of a concrete and carved of white marble which contrasts against a taller concrete and grey stone panel behind it which is about twice as wide as the statue. A circular medallion at center top of the panel is about 15 inches diameter. The monogram design is made of + gold, blue, and red mosaic tiles and features the letters JRS.
