Description
The towering chicken is a rare survivor. These fiberglass clones were once perched atop many a fried chicken stand, but most have flown the coop. The stern rooster is about thirty feet in the air and is colored with a white body, blue tail feathers, and a red face and gizzard.

Remarks
This sign is aesthetically pleasing due to its position and the fact that it is anatomically correct. This rooster represents the community of Pomona because it is clearly recognized and appreciated by those in the community.
