This garden incorporates many Japanese plants (such as Cherry blossom). The pond itself has a number of unique plants situated in an island. The bridge and bordering gates are influenced by Japanese design. Besides the non-Japanese native Mallards and Red Eared Sliders, Koi are used both as decorations and to maintain pond health.
