W. W. Midgley 2 12 '43 One of the best known military and business leaders in Pomona during the late Nineties and early Nineteen Hundreds was W. W. Midgley. He was known throughout the state as an officer in the 7th Regiment National Guard. Mr. Midgley operated a popular men's wear store in Pomona, served as a member of the Pomona City Council, and was active in all civic and fraternal affairs. Later he moved to Flagstaff, Arizona, where he is still active in civic affairs. W. W. Midgeley Co. D. 1896
